Options Group Opens in Sydney, Australia
Options Group, a leading global executive search and strategic consulting firm, is pleased to announce the opening of its seventh office in Sydney.
Options Group Sydney will focus on new and existing clients in the financial services area locally and be led by Executive Director Simon Boulton.
“Options Group is proud to open its 7th global office – and 3rd in Asia – to better serve our client’s needs in the region,” said Andrew Britton, managing partner and head of the firm’s Asian operations. The firm also has offices in Hong Kong and Tokyo. “The opening of an Australian office further expands our global footprint in the Americas, Europe and Asia and it’s in line with our firm’s planned growth,” added Ike Suri, managing partner of the Options Group and head of the firm’s Sydney office. “We envision growth there in the areas of capital markets, investment banking and technology.” Simon came to Australia in 1999 with a listed U.S. recruitment group to establish and lead a financial services practice after specializing in financial institutions for the firm for four years in London. Prior to Options Group, Simon also worked for a Sydney-based boutique search firm for over two years, specializing in senior back- and middle-office work. He also worked across a number of search mandates with global investment banks both domestically and through the Asia-Pacific region. Simon holds a Bachelor of Arts Honors Degree from Leicester University in Philosophy and Politics. Joining Simon will be Adam Gillibrand and Adam Cook. Gillibrand’s primary areas of focus are retained searches for the financial services and Investment Banking sectors. He has broad expertise in facets of primary markets, such as investment banking, structured finance, principal investments and equity/debt capital markets. Gillibrand also has a proven track record of executive placement across the Pacific Rim incorporating, financial management, professional services, and asset management. He holds a BA (Honors) Philosophy. Also in the office is Adam Cook, who has eight years of executive search experience in primarily secondary markets, including sales, trading, structured products and research across fixed income and equities markets. Prior to Options Group, Cook made placements in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Singapore, Tokyo and New Zealand for two Sydney-based boutique firms. Cook has a B.A. in Social Science (Psychology and Communications) and a post-graduate Honors degree in Psychology.
